📰⚽️A thread on pressure, headlines & why staying silent doesn't work.
German sports media is not reporting news. They actively shape public opinion. And that’s a problem.👇

@Sextuple_winner I watched the whole show. He never said that - at least not in this context. What he actually said was that it never automatically turns into a permanent transfer. Everything else is misquoted and/or misinterpreted.
I honestly don’t get the outrage over Hoeneß’ “40 starts” comment on Jackson.
Olise had 42 starts last season (CWC excluded). The idea that Jackson must start 40 times is nonsense. And Jackson surely knows that too. Glad UH cleared it up after all the wild speculation.
@JuppTheDon What's so difficult about "If the conditions are acceptable"? Do you think €80m is reasonable? Because I don't. And that's not what I said.
If the conditions are acceptable - and if Uli Hoeneß still has even a little left of the Uli Hoeneß who once let Mehmet Scholl sleep on his couch, then he approves a permanent transfer of Jackson.
@Sextuple_winner I think it would be a good fit, not just for him, but also for Kane. Similar to Jackson, Kane could really benefit from a player with this profile. And honestly, Openda’s dip in form has far more to do with RB Leipzig’s tactical setup than his own quality.
As much as I despise Chelsea for acting like a scammer on Temu, this situation was not only avoidable, it is the logical outcome of this embarrassing transfer window.
Right now, Bayern is a billion-dollar brand that is run like a Sunday league side. And that's very concerning.
Chelsea in the transfer market are like a magician who saws the assistant in half. Except the assistant actually dies, the trick flops, and he still asks the audience for applause. 🎩🪄⚰️
Pure comedy, total disaster. What an embarrassment of a club. How is this even allowed.
And this is exactly why the Bundesliga keeps getting into deeper trouble. Instead of making sure top players stay in the league, they’re pushed abroad for an extra €10m.
Clubs can cry about it all they want, but they’re the ones making the situation even worse. #Woltemade
🚨 AC Milan reach agreement with Chelsea to sign Christopher Nkunku. Deal for 27yo forward €42m + sell-on clause to #CFC. Permission granted to travel & personal terms in place as France int’l closes in on #ACMilan move @TheAthleticFC post @FabrizioRomano https://t.co/13kWX946Uv
Another one of those moments where I’m speechless. And not because Woltemade isn’t coming to Bayern, but because he seems desperate to go anywhere instead of making a smart decision. I don’t understand how some of these players plan their careers - or if they do at all. Madness.
