We are also completing the Challawa-Gorge Hydro Power Plant, it will generate six megawatts, and is about 65 per cent completed.

We are also planning to unveil an agency for energy generation and distribution, leveraging on the National Electricity Act, which empowers state governments to address electricity deficit in their states.

Additionally, during his recent visit to Kano, I appealed to the Minister of Power to ensure Kano gets additional Megawatts to complement its present allocation to solve energy deficit in the state.
