.@jpmorgan has been accepting Bitcoin as loan collateral for institutional clients. The CFTC approved Bitcoin as collateral for regulated derivative since October 2025.

The largest institutions in finance now agree on the value of Bitcoin as collateral asset.

Collateral is the foundation of every credit market. On-chain credit is a ~$64B TVL market. However, only 11% of Bitcoin is active in it.

The category is now getting widely adopted, though the infrastructure is still missing. Babylon Trustless Bitcoin Vaults (TBV) is that infrastructure.

TBV allows native BTC to be used as collateral. Conditions are written before the loan exists. Redemption is enforced by cryptographic proof. No bridging, no wrapping, no intermediaries.

Starting from the native Bitcoin backed borrowing with @aave v4.
