DEAR NDI-IGBO
—ATIKU ABUBAKAR IS NOT OUR PROBLEM.
—THE HAUSA MAN IS NOT OUR PROBLEM.
—THE FULANI MAN IS NOT OUR PROBLEM.
Peter Obi must understand one clear truth, and that's Ndi-Igbo will not abandon the ADC if he chooses to leave tomorrow. We have made our decision. As a people, we are committed to rallying around the ADC. We will solidify our interests, strengthen our structures, and build a formidable presence within the party. This is not about following any individual. It is about strategic positioning, protecting Igbo interest, and refusing to remain perpetual spectators in Nigerian politics. We have endured enough marginalisation. The time has come for calculated, independent action. Let it be known that ADC is our vehicle now. We are not passengers, we are co-owners and stakeholders. Whoever chooses to board with us is welcome. Whoever decides to alight is free to go. But Ndi-Igbo are staying.
We move as one.
We stand firm.
We build for the long term.

Rebirth of Politics in Daura: A Tight House of Reps Race
By Mikailu Alhaji Dauda (Mukky) | Abuja, 23/04/2026
Daura’s upcoming House of Representatives contest pits two contrasting figures against each other. Yusuf Muhammad Buhari, son of the late President, enters with strong name recognition and backing from the state governor, appealing to voters loyal to the Buhari legacy. However, questions remain about his experience and clear policy direction.
Opposing him is Sheikh Malam Lawal Mustapha, an experienced civil servant and respected Islamic scholar known for his grassroots connection, administrative exposure, and personal integrity. His campaign emphasizes competence and independence, resonating with voters seeking effective representation over political influence.
The race centers on key issues: legacy vs. track record, party structure vs. grassroots support, and the impact of gubernatorial backing.
If legacy and party machinery dominate, Yusuf has the advantage. If voters prioritize experience and independence, Lawal stands a strong chance.
Overall, this contest signals a shift in Daura politics where voters may focus more on performance and vision than on identity or influence.
@BashirAhmaad There you are, arguing on their behalf in the present life, but who will argue with God on their behalf on the Day of Resurrection? Or who will be their representative?!
