Earlier this week I accepted the Lefkowitz Award from
@FordhamLawNYC. I was out of town for work so was unable to attend in person, but please watch my recorded remarks.
My opponent says I “only belong at Quinceañeras.” Don’t threaten me with a good time!
Celebrating family and tradition with District 15 is exactly where I belong. Got a celebration coming up? I’d be honored to stop by! Submit your request here: https://t.co/iQNT2DARoL
New: ~900 requests have been submitted since Bobby Pulido, #TX15 Dem nominee & Tejano singer, offered to attend / perform at a quinceañera in his district, per a Pulido spokesperson.
This was in response to his Republican opponent U.S. Rep. Monica De La Cruz saying “This election isn't about who you want performing at your niece's quinceañera, it’s about who you trust with your family’s future.”
Today’s military strikes on Iran — carried out by the United States and Israel — mark a catastrophic escalation in an illegal war of aggression. Bombing cities. Killing civilians. Opening a new theater of war. Americans do not want this. They do not want another war in pursuit of regime change. They want relief from the affordability crisis. They want peace.
I am focused on making sure that every New Yorker is safe. I have been in contact with our Police Commissioner and emergency management officials. We are taking proactive steps, including increasing coordination across agencies and enhancing patrols of sensitive locations out of an abundance of caution.
Additionally, I want to speak directly to Iranian New Yorkers: you are part of the fabric of this city — you are our neighbors, small business owners, students, artists, workers, and community leaders. You will be safe here.
My new video with Mayor Mamdani just dropped 📼
Our partnership has shown that politics doesn’t have to be sour or ego-driven. It can be a team sport in pursuit of values and our hopes.⬇️
I’m proud to be supporting my friend Brad Lander for Congress.
@BradLander has spent his career taking on big fights for New York’s working families. He’ll bring principled leadership to Washington and make sure Congress works for the many, not just the few.
Michelle and I were deeply saddened to hear about the passing of a true giant, the Reverend Jesse Jackson. We will always be grateful for Jesse's lifetime of service, and the friendship our families share. We stood on his shoulders. We send our deepest condolences to the Jackson family and everyone in Chicago and beyond who knew and loved him.
now that elle fanning is receiving her flowers as a first time oscar nominee it's time to promote THE GREAT which is one of her best works of all time she showcased ranges we've never seen from her and it was truly a testament how talented she actually is
Demi Moore just narrowly missed an Oscar about this time last year for her role in The Substance & I still wonder how this decision will age. Moore was phenomenal in this movie. Part of me really wishes she took home the Oscar to recognize the heights she reached in this film.
I have the utmost respect for Senator Kaine and Senator Warner but we do not need “coaching” on redistricting coming from a cuck chair in the corner. How about you all stay focused on the fascist in the White House and let us handle redistricting in Virginia. 10-1
