🚨EMERGENCY DEMO - TOMORROW AT DOWNING STREET, 6PM 🚨
Following Israel's horrific attack on Rafah last night, in spite of the ICJ ruling, we have called an emergency protest outside Downing Street at 6PM on Tuesday 28th May.
Palestinian children should wake up feeling excited to go to school and play with their friends.
Instead, for those murdered in Rafah, their last moments on this earth were filled with unimaginable fear as bombs rained down on their tents.
What a monstrous failure of humanity.
Keir Starmer rejecting safe routes for refugees.
This man should not get anyone’s vote.
His mission is to defeat socialism and move the entire spectrum of UK politics to the right.
Vote Green, Independent Left, Plaid or SNP.
Do not vote Labour.
So Rishi Sunak wants to deal with " extremists". Maybe he should start with politicians, political commentators and religious leaders who support a state, on trial for genocide, in its mass slaughter, and deliberate creation of famine. Not those protesting against it.
We are at loss for words, as no words exist for what we have seen this morning. Even in the context of the plethora of international law violations carried out by Israeli forces over the last few months, today’s events represent a new low.
'The Flour Bag Massacre' not only shows a flagrant disregard for international law, but it is an act of unconscionable, senseless and vindictive cruelty.

🚨PSC statement on the Labour Party's proposed amendment to the SNPs motion calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.
@UKLabour's amendment seeks to dilute the clear call for an immediate ceasefire by handing the Israeli government a veto over whether or not a ceasefire should happen.
Simply awful message from the UK Govt - come here to care for our loved ones, but don't bring your loved ones with you.
A race to the bottom on migration is not only morally abhorrent but economically illiterate.
These plans will only damage social care & those who rely on it.
The situation in Israel/ Gaza is horrific. @EveryDoctorUK have already written to UK political leaders once, calling for an immediate ceasefire on humanitarian grounds. We are going to do so again. As doctors we cannot stand by and watch silently 🚨🚨🚨
Palestinians risked life & limb to reach Rafah, the last designated safe zone in Gaza.
Now they are being told to leave. Where are they supposed to go?
This is not an “evacuation.” This is ethnic cleansing — and our government is complicit by letting Israel act with impunity.
I have just finished another set of incredibly difficult weekend nights as the A&E consultant incharge.
Some thoughts:
The NHS no longer provides unscheduled care - we provide treatment. Care is with dignity - that's impossible for our patients in corridors.
The model of acute care is not working or sustainable. We need a completely different approach - with long term investment in prevention and community care
111 need to change risk thresholds as far too many come to a&e when they don't need to.
There needs to be alternative pathways to get care overnight for those who don't have accidents or emergencies. A&E shouldn't be anything and everything
Staff are broke - supporting staff is just as vital as looking after patients
This government have totally decimated our the NHS. They are the ones who should be apologising to our patients not our staff.
Hundreds are dying each week because of lack of hospital capacity and corridor care in a&e, yet it's not on the news and no public uproar. As staff and patients we have accepted the unacceptable.
Everyone needs to know the reality of what is happening - so that politicians offer a different solution and patients get the care they deserve. Sadly most of the public have no idea of what is genuinely going on.
And finally, a post night fry up is the best antidote for the stresses of the weekend. Goodnight!
Just processing this...
After a contested hearing the most senior court on the planet has ruled 15-2 that Israel has a case to answer on the charge of genocide.
But if you repeat that charge as a Labour MP you will be suspended.
Labour is waging a war on free thought.
The response to the ICJ should have been sanctions on Israel. Instead, Western donor countries have placed sanctions on Palestinians
Genuinely, I think this one of the darkest moments in the history of humanitarianism. This will have Rwanda-level implications for the aid world.
Yesterday, the ICJ found a plausible risk of genocide in Gaza.
Today, the UK has joined others in suspending funding to UNRWA.
This is collective punishment — our government should be ashamed of its moral depravity toward Palestinians starving to death.
