A local resident “Arthur” celebrated his 90th birthday today 😱 our wonderful volunteers made him a special card, a banner for his garden and went and sang “happy birthday” (from a safe distance of course!) - “happy birthday Arthur” from everyone @safebuddygroup #WeCare

In 12 days our amazing volunteers have helped 55 elderly and vulnerable people living in Styvechale and Finham #Coventry 👏👏- we’ve been shopping 🛍 🥘 we’ve collected prescriptions ⛑🚘 we’ve spoken to residents on the phone 📞 ☎️ a HUGE thanks to our team of volunteers 🙏🏻🙏🏻

One of our volunteers took a call this morning from a lady who looks after her husband who has dementia- she needed food essentials for the weekend - a long but orderly queue at @Tesco Canon Park #coventry but we’re happy to help as volunteers #StayHomeSaveLives #coventrycares
