Her PhD looks at how data and emerging technologies are used to model disaster and climate changes in countries like Nepal looking at issues of inequalities including gender, caste, rural-urban hierarchy and infrastructural issues and how technology can solve and exacerbate them.

Shreyasha Paudel is currently a PhD student at the University of Toronto. Her PhD is interdisciplinary. She is enrolled in the School of Computer Science but she is also doing a minor in Women and Gender Studies and a partial minor in Environmental Studies.
