@Omh_Safety Yes the hoop truly prevents the fatigue factor, but doesnt protectthem from the consequenceof the fatigue. The hoop isnt compatible with other person fall arrest system ie. Lifeline which offers more anchorage protection.

But there are exceptions especially in machnery safety. In fact, the UK's BS EN 14122: 1-3 didn't make any reference to the ratio 4:1.

It's why the American standards is often mocked as being too rule-based as opposed to the British "risk-based" safety

-Loss of engine cooling/overheating

- Leak from fuel pipes ignited by exhaust

Petite fire engines still require petrol to move, needs accessible roads and their water capacity is even less (around 1,000 litres). In no time, it's going to be doomed to the fate of the current existing challenges.

I only suggested what could be achieved in short term even with the current state of the locality. It's fine if you don't agree. That wasn't my intention.
