After losing my first TikTok account earlier this year at almost 20K followers, I honestly didn’t know if I had it in me to start all over again. That account held so many memories, so much time, love and effort. Having to leave it behind broke my heart in ways I don’t think I ever properly explained.
And then I started again. And now somehow… WE ARE 10K AGAIN. 😭❤️

Nunew had barely managed to sit down.
After hours in the operating room, his body was finally beginning to feel the exhaustion he had been ignoring for most of the day. His shoulders ached beneath his scrubs, his eyes burned from staring at surgical lights for far too long, and his stomach reminded him that he had skipped lunch.
He had just reached for the cup of coffee sitting on his desk when the alarm suddenly pierced through the silence of his office.
CODE BLUE.
Nunew froze.
The exhaustion disappeared instantly. His chair scraped against the floor as he stood.
Another alarm followed.
Then another.
The hospital speakers echoed with the emergency announcement, and footsteps immediately began racing through the corridor outside his office.
Nunew grabbed his coat and rushed out. A nurse was already waiting for him.
“Doctor Nunew!”
“What happened?”
“Male patient incoming. Multiple gunshot wounds.”
“How many?”
“Three confirmed shots. Possibly more. We don't have a complete assessment yet.”
“Conscious?”
“No, Doctor.”
“Vitals?”
“Extremely unstable. He's lost a lot of blood. They're performing emergency interventions in the ambulance, but he's deteriorating.”
Nunew's jaw tightened. “Get the trauma team ready.”
“Yes, Doctor.”
They hurried toward the emergency entrance. Nunew could already hear the distant siren growing louder, and his mind immediately went into clinical mode.
There was no time to waste.
He reached the emergency entrance just as the ambulance came screeching into the driveway.
The back doors opened.
“Let's go! Move!”
Two paramedics jumped out and immediately began pulling the stretcher down.
Nunew stepped forward. “What do we have?”
“Male, approximately early thirties. Multiple gunshot wounds. Three penetrating wounds to the torso, one possible wound to the shoulder. Significant blood loss. Patient became unresponsive approximately five minutes ago.”
“Pulse?”
“Thready.”
“Blood pressure?”
“Dropping.”
“Heart rate?”
“Rapid and irregular.”
“Let's get him inside.”
The medical team moved quickly. Nunew walked beside the stretcher, listening as the paramedic continued reporting the patient's condition.
“We've administered fluids. Two large-bore IVs are in place. He's barely maintaining his pressure.”
“Keep the fluids running. Prepare blood.”
“Yes, Doctor.”
The stretcher crossed the threshold.
And then—
Nunew saw him.
At first, all he saw was blood. Too much of it.
It soaked through the man's clothes, stained the white sheets beneath him, and covered parts of his face. Nunew's eyes moved automatically over the patient's body.
Chest.
Abdomen.
Shoulder.
Face.
He was already calculating possible injuries in his head. Then his eyes stopped, and his breathing stopped with them. The world seemed to tilt beneath his feet.
The familiar curve of the man's jaw. The shape of his nose. The dark hair matted against his forehead. Even beneath the blood, even beneath the oxygen mask, even after all these years—
Nunew knew him.
He knew that face better than he knew his own.
His lips parted, but no sound came out.
The man lying unconscious on the stretcher—
the man fighting desperately for every second of his life—
was the same man who had once held Nunew's heart in his hands.
The same man who had promised him forever.
The same man who had broken that promise.
The same man who had torn his world apart so completely that Nunew had spent years rebuilding himself from the pieces.
Zee Pruk Panich.
Nunew couldn't breathe. His fingers went cold.
For a moment, he wasn't standing inside a hospital anymore. He was somewhere years ago.
Back when Zee had smiled at him. Back when he had whispered his name. Back when Nunew believed that the two of them would grow old together.
Then the memories vanished as quickly as they came.
“Doctor!”
Nunew blinked.
The monitor suddenly screamed.
BEEEEEEEEEP.

A #ZeeNuNewAU where NuNew goes to sleep in 2021 after spending an embarrassing amount of time trying to reply to a text from Zee Pruk. He’s just been been cast in Cutie Pie, his acting career is only beginning and his ridiculously handsome co-star is someone he can barely make eye contact with, let alone text without having a mental breakdown.
So waking up beside him the next morning is… concerning. Having Zee wrap an arm around his waist and sleepily ask why he’s leaving their bed is considerably worse.
Their bed?
“Hia, why am I sleeping here?”
Zee opens one eye. “Where else would you sleep?”
NuNew can think of several places but every single one disappears when he catches sight of the date on the calendar beside the bed. 2026. His increasingly frantic questions eventually prompt Zee to sit up.
“Nhu, we live together. You’re my boyfriend.”
“Do my parents know?”
Zee blinks. “Of course.”
So somehow, NuNew has skipped five years and landed in a life he barely recognises. He has songs he’s never heard, concerts he doesn’t remember performing and a boyfriend who keeps looking at him as though loving him is the easiest thing in the world. Convinced that the truth sounds too ridiculous to say aloud, NuNew blames his strange behaviour on a bad dream and decides to play along until he can figure out how to get home. After all, how difficult can pretending to be himself possibly be?
Extremely difficult, as it turns out. His future self seems to have built an entire daily routine around touching, kissing and teasing Zee Pruk, while this version of NuNew needs three to five business days to recover every time Zee calls him teerak. Possibly even a separate bedroom too if he’s going to get any thinking done.
At first, Zee accepts his excuses. He asks if NuNew is feeling all right, encourages him to rest and gives him space. But after days of NuNew turning away from kisses, slipping out of embraces, and finding reasons to come to bed later, his easy affection begins to falter. Soon, NuNew is catching him withdrawing a hand before it can touch him. The trouble is, just as Zee starts pulling back, NuNew starts wanting him closer. Somewhere between discovering his future and getting to know the man he apparently comes home to, NuNew begins to understand how they ended up here.
Finding a way back to 2021 is becoming considerably more complicated now that he’s falling in love with his own boyfriend. Only Zee has no idea that’s what’s happening. He misses the kisses, the teasing, the closeness that used to fill their days and with every excuse, he grows a little more afraid to ask whether NuNew still wants the life they’ve built together.
NuNew is overwhelmed by a love he hasn’t lived yet. Zee thinks the person he loves is getting tired of him. And sooner or later, keeping the truth to himself is going to hurt more than telling it.
A different NuNew. A very confused Zee. And five years of love caught somewhere in between.
Or: NuNew wakes up in the year 2026, which is very strange, considering the last time he checked, it was 2021 and Zee Pruk becoming his boyfriend still seemed like something that would require divine intervention.
