At the time, I had no clue what the designs they were working on meant, as I didn't get the script until the 4/20 revision. I did get a photo with the foam Baragon that day, which I retrieved from the production room's "big board" at the end of the GMK shoot.
As told on pg 78 of my book "Behind The Kaiju Curtain," 25 years ago today (4/13/01), Hiroshi Sagae took me to Toho to meet the GMK art staff: Miike, Isao, Inatsuki & Kasuga. Everyone was cool & let me poke around & take photos. It was the start of my greatest year of Godzilla.
