We're used to seeing verification systems like reCAPTCHA, Turnstile, OTPs, and other browser-based challenges.

This one stood out because it required interaction with the operating system rather than the webpage itself.

Curious if others have come across something similar.

Instead, I ended up inspecting an obfuscated Windows command that appeared to reference a remote server and invoke rundll32.

Definitely not the verification flow I was expecting to see today. 👀

Out of curiosity, I tried the first two steps (but didn't press Enter).

A long string was pasted into the Windows Run dialog. After inspecting it, I found an obfuscated command referencing a remote server and invoking rundll32.

Needless to say, I didn't continue.
