Today, we engaged the Association of Dairy Processors in Kenya to find practical solutions to the current reduction in milk supply and ensure milk gets back to the shelves in adequate quantities and at fair prices.

The prolonged drought has put pressure on fodder and animal feed, contributing to a 3.7% decline in milk production between June and July. This is putting pressure on farmers, processors and ultimately consumers.

Our immediate focus is getting more feed to farmers, facilitating duty-free importation of yellow maize for animal feed, strengthening milk market monitoring and ensuring farmers receive a fair price for their milk.

We are also looking at long-term solutions, including a milk stabilisation mechanism, to manage periods of surplus and shortage, protect farmers from price fluctuations and build a more resilient dairy sector.

We are committed to supporting farmers, stabilising milk supply and protecting consumers.

Now imagine young Faisal walking into a Fraine/ Eco-mart, and seeing "Power Rangers-branded milk" on the shelf? Specifically, the Blue Ranger (Billy). You think I'm picking anything else? Or, you think my mother is picking anything else, when she knows what my face looks like when I'm happy?

So if this Lato x PAW Patrol #OOH concept confuses you… Sit with that feeling. The 5 to 10-year-old YOU is not just disappointed, but very offended.

📌 Lato didn't make this billboard for us (20, 30, 40-year-olds). They made it for the tiny humans who genuinely believe cartoon dogs save the day. YES, kids don't do the shopping, but they absolutely control it in today's world...

So let me ask... Would you still BET on cartoon dogs to save your Marketing quarter, or the usual "this milk is enriched with calcium for stronger bones" rhetoric?
