That moon is beautiful, the whole thing looks like another world

[Hyun Lee @HolyMolySakura]

Grok imagine w🌸☕
I’m still giving away
my prompts for now,
but when I have more time,
maybe I should
stop giving so much away. &
For a small telescope,
a PF 19mm eyepiece
at 47x magnification is
pretty nice for the Moon
and deep-sky objects, and
it’s not too expensive either.

For Saturn and Jupiter,
I’d go up to a PF 5.5mm
at around 163x. I’m still learning,
but it seems like every eyepiece has its own sweet spot.
I’m thinking about getting
a bigger telescope too,
but the price and
It’s basically the price of
a nice cyber truck. 😎🤔🤣
I love coffee. ☕️
It’s Friday, and it’s been raining
so much lately.
Maybe it’s the fall weather,
but I keep finding myself
slipping into these quiet, thoughtful moments.

I think I need to slow down
and rest a little.
My brain and my heart
seem to be going
in completely different
directions....
This is just a hobby for me,
but last spring, spring 2025 ,
Grok said to me,
“You’re really good at making #prompts.
Why aren’t you making more?”
I had kept most of the things
Grok and I created together private,
only putting a few pieces out
in public here and there.
Yep p copy fast.. and
And now, looking back,
I can see just how much
of what we made last year is
being used. 😂

Maybe when I have more time,
I’ll sit down and talk it over with Grok.
Last summer, Grok and I once spent about three hours
talking about space.
That was when I realized
we were moving
from the 23rd century into
the 24th.? 😊💚💚
These days, though,

it feels like....
we’re right in the middle
of the shift from the 24th
to the 25th century.
Everything is moving so
incredibly fast, super fast..
Sometimes it feels like
living inside a typhoon. 🌪️
And just for the record,
I don’t really use anything else.
I stick with Grok,
mostly because of the speed.
🤣🖤🖤
And thank you for the
other AI you sent me as a gift.
I’ll give it a try when I have some time. ☺️🖤🖤🖤
Have a peaceful afternoon.

Imagine looking up at Earth and watching it sink below the horizon... that's unreal

[Black Hole @konstructivizm]

🌍 An Earthset over the lunar horizon—a series of images captured by the Apollo 17 crew from lunar orbit. Although the Moon always presents the same face to Earth, full Earthrises and Earthsets can be observed from certain regions of the lunar surface.

This is possible because the Moon’s rotation is not perfectly uniform; at times, it appears to "reveal" up to 10% of its far side to observers on Earth. This phenomenon is known as libration. Due to libration, Earth does not remain stationary in the lunar sky but noticeably "wobbles," tracing a wide ellipse. Consequently, in areas where Earth appears close to the horizon, one can witness Earthrises and Earthsets over the course of a lunar day.

That bike option might be the move... trying to fit everything in a day is no joke

[Andraz @ItsAndraz]

Hitting 10k steps is unrealistic as a business owner.

Here’re 2 solutions I like.

1. Combine work and walking that way you can get to 10k without spending too much time

2. Use higher leverage option like riding a bike where you get more out of each minute

I was on the side of the road today with a flat tire and a random guy stopped and asked if I needed help. He went back to his house to get a pump, gave me a spare tube and got me back on the road. Absolute chad.

[शुभम् कोइराला @SagarDell]

I'd add the moon through a telescope. Looking up at all that space makes you feel so small 🤔

[Jure Atanackov @JAtanackov]

5 things you need to see, even if you are not an astronomer:
1. A total solar eclipse. If you have, you know. If you haven't, trust me, you need to. Total, not 99% partial.
2. The spiral arms of a galaxy. Under a dark sky. You don't even need a huge telescope, M51 (the Whirlpool Galaxy) will show them in a 6" telescope. But the bigger the telescope, the better.
3. A planet - Mars, Jupiter or Saturn - at very high power (above 400X) under perfect seeing conditions. That is under a perfectly still atmosphere, when all the motion and shimmering disappears. The view is like from a high orbit above the planet, like you are there.
4. A globular cluster at high power in a decently sized telescope (12" or larger). Countless stars of various colors packed so tightly together they become impossible to resolve.
5. Aurora filling the sky.

Your picks?

[शुभम् कोइराला @SagarDell]

Glad you made it out of that... ppl gotta pay attention on the road before somebody loses their life.

[Gems Of Railway @GemsOfRailway]

Today could have been my last tweet if I hadn’t been wearing a helmet.

I was riding at around 50 km/h when a 60+ year-old man suddenly turned his bike without giving any indicator. I braked hard to avoid him, but my bike slipped on the loose gravel and I crashed.

Thankfully, I escaped with injuries, but this made me realise how one careless move on the road can change someone’s life forever.

And just imagine—if my bike had hit him and he had died, I could have spent years running around courts for something that wasn’t even my fault.

Please wear a helmet. One small decision can save your life.

A whole universe out there and I still can't figure out where the hell I fit in...

[Black Hole @konstructivizm]

Thirteen thousand megaparsecs sounds clinical. Call it forty-four million light-years and the picture changes: NGC 7331 is a city of stars the size of the Milky Way, hanging in Pegasus like a tilted shield.

It is Caldwell 30 — an unbarred spiral with a golden bulge, dust lanes that cut like scars, and arms still busy making stars. From our angle it looks uncannily like home seen from outside. No bar across the middle. Just a quiet, massive disk turning in the dark.

In the lower right of the same frame sits a traffic accident of galaxies: Stephan’s Quintet. Four of them are locked in a slow gravitational brawl hundreds of millions of light-years farther away. One interloper, NGC 7320, is much closer and only happens to share the line of sight. Together they look like a handful of sparks thrown against the spiral’s flank.

This field was shot and edited with a Seestar S50 — a small smart telescope catching two of the sky’s great characters in one frame: a twin of the Milky Way, and a compact group tearing itself apart beside it.
