VIDEO | Delhi Car Blast: The Uttar Pradesh ATS has detained Dr Mohammad Arif, 32, a first-year DM (Cardiology) student, in Kanpur.

Dr AK Sharma from the LPS Institute says, “In August 2025, Dr Mohammad Arif enrolled here as a first-year resident in the DM Cardiology course, which is of three years’ duration... His behaviour was normal, and nothing appeared suspicious. However, it’s difficult to assess someone’s character in just four months.”

He added, “He was regular at work, never remained absent, and we received no complaints from patients. He left yesterday evening after completing his morning duties.”

Maharashtra Becomes India's First State to Partner with Starlink!

It was wonderful to welcome Ms. Lauren Dreyer, Vice President, Starlink in Mumbai today, where the Government of Maharashtra signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Starlink Satellite Communications Private Limited, marking Maharashtra as the first Indian state to formally collaborate with Starlink to deploy satellite-based internet services for government institutions, rural communities, and critical public infrastructure across remote and underserved regions and aspirational districts in Maharashtra such as Gadchiroli, Nandurbar, Dharashiv, and Washim.
