reminder that there is no one correct way to recover: some will eat "healthier" foods than others, some will exercise more than others, some will need help more than others and that's okay. whats important is that you're healing and honoring your body and what it wants.
i've been feeling restrictive lately so i made those 2 ingredient pancakes for breakfast, god they were HORENDOUS
at least this is motivating me to get the full experience when i cook for myself! added some lemon yogurt too lol it was yummy
i want to be recovered, but i don't want to be in recovery. honestly i can't stand recovery anymore it feels like my entire life revolves around food and weight gain... i just want to get rid of the ed once and for all without working to get rid of it
for lunch i had dumplings for the first time ever lol. + an orange, a fried egg and green beans. i feel bad now about the small portions i used, and for being so obsessed with only using healthy food and trying so hard to make it "balanced" ..
@dollcakeeats its not easy!! but your body deserves this, she works so hard for you, its okay to honor her and your cravings. food freedom is worth everything!
eggs w meat half a cob of corn, raspberries, and eggs w/ meat!
restricted myself on this kinda, i feel a bit bad about it now. i have now used butter in the pan twice today though so thats a win!
for me recovery was so much more than trying to heal my mind and body from a nasty ed. it was letting go of the obsession with perfection that's plagued me my entire life, and allowing me to be free and myself even if other people dont like it
here's your reminder that recovery isnt easy- in fact it's terrifying. at the same time recovery is easy! it can be hard, it can be fun too! recovery can be anything, and that's because everyone's recovery journey is different.
