@nathanbenaich Every time I hear about this, I remember this timeless video that summarizes everything you need to know about German bureaucracy / work
Germany is a totally fucked country.
We have very conservative constitution and government, by design.
The states have enormous veto power, which can mute or cancel sudden changes in composition of federal government, in this way working to keep everything the same.
We have a powerful judiciary, which also likes to keep everything the same.
And then because of climatist nonsense and socialism, we have a massive world of subsidised people and enterprises, who also want to keep everything the same.
The problem is, everything can't stay the same. We haven't run out of money quite yet, and we haven't yet maxed out our credit cards, but that day is coming unless we change course. But we can't change course, until things really really hurt, because of all the forces and all of the assholes trying to keep everything the same. We could take a moderate hit now and nevertheless right the ship in the end. There would be some pain but we could pull through. We're not going to do that though, because until we bleed to death, everything has to stay the same.
We're going to make this as brutally terrible and fucked as possible, because of all the dumb mute forces working to keep everything the same. Nobody can figure out how to stop this or fix this. The press just smile about it every day and say it's cool. The politicians just pretend nothing is happening and look into the cameras with dead, hollow eyes.
It is so fucking frustrating.
All the worst people I’ve had to deal with in my life have had one thing in common:
They assume that everyone else is just as Machiavellian as them, and anyone who seems otherwise is cynically pretending.
Man idk, I’m in the hospital every three months with Just World Syndrome
