Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, 55, is facing significant backlash after mocking the phrase “Free Palestine" during an interview with journalist Anupama Chopra.
Meanwhile, the brutal ongoing genocide against Palestinians, the bloodbath of children, and settler colonialism all continue.
On 7th May, the actor, who has significant royal heritage, said in an interview with the news agency IANS that he knew it sounded shallow, but he saw his only purpose in life as “to entertain and, above all, to have a good time.
None of what Lowe says here is true but Rogan, paid millions by Spotify and listened to by millions, just says ‘woah’ and offers no rebuttal or even basic factcheck. Talk about inciting Islamophobia and bigotry.

Case of the suspicious death of 25-year-old Mohammed Salman.
Mohammed Salman, a resident of Bagheli village in Supaul district, Bihar, worked as a T-shirt tailor in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu. He had recently moved to Tiruppur for work and was the main breadwinner of the family.
The family alleges that Salman received a fake call from a man posing as a police officer. They claim the caller demanded ₹5 lakh (500,000 rupees), threatened 10 years in prison if he failed to pay, and asked him to come alone to a secluded location.
According to the family, Salman left to meet the caller without informing anyone. He subsequently went missing, and his body was recovered Saturday morning from a deep, water-filled pit near the under-construction tunnel bridge on Park Road in Tiruppur.
This moving article on @UmarKhalidJNU in prison prompts a simple question: if he really has incited terrorism, why not prove it in a court of law? Why deny him the basic right of any Indian citizen accused of a crime, the right to a fair trial? Languishing six years behind bars, without a chance to defend himself legally, is a travesty of justice and a blot on our democracy. I think the people of India have a right to know why.
And what he says from prison is sad to read:

Rep. Ilhan Omar sounded the alarm on India’s worsening persecution of religious minorities. “Reports coming out of India [place it at] the 8th stage of genocide,” Omar said. “It’s really important for us to continue to raise the alarm, because we know that it is not just the Modi administration that is causing havoc in India, but it is becoming systematic and it’s becoming societal.”

Suar ki aulaad, Ben Gvir ki post ko admire kar raha hai. Saale, ek baar padh to le ki hai kaun woh aadmi. A sanctioned extremist, a literal fucking terrorist, reviled across much of the world, and yet you’re praising him as if he’s someone to look up to. Tum jaise logon ki wajah se desh ka mazaak banta hai. Sabse badi tragedy yeh hai ki tu khud ko journalist kehta hai. Agar itni basic political literacy bhi nahi hai, toh propaganda aur journalism mein farq kaise hi rahega. Shame on you.
