Chief Minister chaired a comprehensive review of Anantnag’s development, winter preparedness and public service delivery today, directing departments to expedite ongoing projects and ensure timely resolution of public grievances.

The review covered health, education, roads and infrastructure, youth empowerment, food and civil supplies, power and rural development.

Chief Minister issued specific, time-bound directions to accelerate industrial estate development, streamline social welfare assistance, strengthen LPG buffer stocks for winter and improve physical and financial progress under key schemes, including SASCI. He also directed banks to streamline disbursements under Mission YUVA to support local youth in establishing their enterprises.

Deeply saddened by the death in the line of duty of Head Constable Ashiq Hussain of IRP 3rd Battalion J&K Police.
