@BahlKanan@pavanladdad I beg to differ, we have a humongous population. What is the definition of ‘common man’ here? Yes, jobs and infra are a concern but can’t say that vote chori doesn’t matter to a common man!
@mainbhiengineer I don’t think we are going to see lower taxes or even acceptance we pay higher taxes. Govt needs to fund govt staff salaries and populist schemes. All this while corruption exists. Just gonna pay higher taxes for substandard infra - resigned to this fact.
@WeekendInvestng Feel govt will do everything but improve government / public healthcare setup. But with rising healthcare and insurance costs it was not going to go unnoticed. Surely, PE folks will have modeled this risk in their pricing.
@NotAGoodGuy5@DealsDhamaka 🫠 you do realise public health and sanitation is a state subject and ruling state govt in Karnataka is… so not sure the logic on Andhbhakt. At our population numbers you can’t police civic sense - so educate your own to follow good hygiene and cleanliness in society.
@GuruShareMarket Assuming that I don’t need the 58k for living expenses (else I wouldn’t completely reinvest in SIP) and knowing that i get 12% CAGR. Why wouldn’t I invest the entire 1 Cr in equity? It will become 2.5-2.8 Cr in 8-9 years. Also if i was a 30% tax payer, in had interest is below 7%
@poojaofficial5 At this salary level, one is probs slogging crazy and has lot of responsibility at work. You are good at it but it comes at expense of time for family and health. Tax is an obligation but what do you get for this? Substandard infra / no safety net if you lost job / no govt net
@sunilgurjar01 Feels like only marginal rates of taxation have been applied. For India, you will have added health cess and surcharge. If you convert into country currency and run through progressive bands - effective rates will be lower
@themahavir These stocks are trading at substantially high P/E ratios. But every time i visit the hospital now that someone or other seems to have aging/lifestyle probs - i am convinced that quality healthcare is going to continue making money and so the investments from PEs.
@mxtaverse Feel the govt underestimated the public sentiments and was caught off guard. They did what they could to douse the fire before it caused more damage. They aren’t going to repeat the mistake, they are coming off a tough situation and will avoid senior ministers caught in a pickle
