What exactly is the Telangana Government doing while thousands of residents continue to face a severe water crisis? 🚰❓

Groundwater levels have dropped drastically, Manjeera water supply is inadequate in many areas, and citizens are being forced to depend on private water tankers for their basic needs.

The situation has become alarming. Private tanker operators are taking advantage of the crisis and charging anywhere between ₹4,000–₹5,000 for a 5,000-litre tanker apart from not delivering the supply on time. 💸 Meanwhile, even after booking through @HMWSSBOnline, residents are reportedly waiting up to 3 to 4 days for water delivery. ⏳ Sometimes wait extends till midnight

Why is there no regulation or price cap on private tanker suppliers? Why is the government allowing citizens to be exploited during a crisis? 🤔

The Telangana Government must immediately:
✅ Increase emergency water supply
✅ Improve GHMC tanker response times
✅ Regulate and cap private tanker prices
✅ Take strict action against profiteering during shortages
✅ Present a clear plan to address the ongoing water crisis
Access to water is a basic necessity, not a luxury. The people of Telangana deserve urgent action, not silence and inaction. 🚰
