Rape and murder of a 9 year old Dalit girl in Delhi, shows the most outrageous and heinous side of our society and the gross failure of governance. The entire nation must be ashamed of such gruesome crime and demand the most exemplary punishment to the culprits.#Nangalbrutality
I prefer to leave space for my audiences, says Abdullah Mohammad Saad, whose film, Rehana Maryam Noor, was the sole South Asian entry in the competitive Un Certain Regard section; now it’s headed for a US release.

Misrepresenting #MuslimsinFilm costs lives. Dehumanising and demonising people legitimises hate, discriminatory laws, violence, and war. Enough is enough.

The post poll violence is apalling but not unexpected if you remember the riots that were unleashed in Delhi after AAP won the election. Whatever Mamata's faults, does it make sense for her to create violence in her own state for which her govt would be blamed?
Pradip Bijalwan, a rare doctor disinterested in money; his only ambition to serve the most needy. For many years, he worked in our homeless street work. Until his end, he was running our covid clinic for the homeless. He died 2 days back for lack of oxygen. Cry my beloved country
Shortage of Oxygen in hospitals across the country is an UNMITIGATED MAN-MADE DISASTER!
Standing Committee on Health in report presented to RS Chairman on 21.11.2020, recommended Modi Govt to “encourage adequate production of Oxygen” to meet needs of hospitals
Why wasn’t it done?
Do you remember that there was a massive global financial crisis in 2008? No? That’s because Dr MMS guided the nation so deftly through it that we didn’t feel any pain. Contrast that to now....
The question is what (apart from giving govt a tongue-lashing, & rightly so) did the CJI Bobde think High Courts were doing wrong so as to decide to intervene & effectively take away Covid mismanagement pleas from HC? And Salve as amicus? Couldn't CJI have found a better one?
As a 55 year old Indian I have been disappointed with my Governments several times. I was disappointed in 75, in 84 in 92, 2002 and quite a few more. But this is all of those put together and more. This goes down in history.
