.@jeffbezos on how to overcome stress instantly:
“Stress primarily comes from not taking action over something that you can have some control over. If I find that some particular thing is causing me to have stress, that's a warning flag — it means there's something I haven't completely identified that's bothering me, and I haven't yet taken action on it.”
Jeff Bezos on the difference between your gifts and your choices — and the one that actually defines you:
"It's the choices that define us, not our gifts ... You can never be proud of your gifts because they're gifts. They were given to you ... you can only be proud, really, of your choices, because those are the things that you are acting on ... you can choose a life of ease and comfort, or you can choose a life of service and adventure. And when you're eighty, which one of those things do you think you're gonna be more proud of?"
Elon Musk: “Anyone who wants to make more than they take has my respect”
"If you want to create something valuable financially, you don't pursue that directly. It's best to actually pursue providing useful products and services. If you do that, then money will come as a natural consequence, as opposed to pursuing money directly. Just like, you can't pursue happiness directly, you pursue things that lead to happiness."
"Generally, if somebody's trying to make a company work, they should expect to grind super hard and accept that there's some meaningful chance of failure. But be focused on having the output be worth more than the input. That's what really matters. Make more than you take."

In order to be successful, you have to do five things. There’s a sequence to it.
1. Have (audacious) goals.
2. Identify and don't tolerate problems.
3. Diagnose the problems to get at their root causes.
4. Design a path to fix those things.
5. Push through to results.
This is what I call looping. Go for your goals, identify your problems, get to the root cause, design a path, and push through. Life is basically just doing that over and over again. If you do that, you'll make the advances.

Apple CEO Tim Cook: "Life has a way of happening and throwing you off from some well-crafted plan. The most important thing is to roll with it."
"Make sure that you recognize, when doors are opening, that they are opening — and you choose the [right] one to walk through."
Calling for "all of Lebanon to burn" is a horrendous and abhorrent statement from an Israeli Minister who has rightly been sanctioned by the UK Government.
We call on both Israel and Hizballah to comply with the agreed ceasefire, and ensure that all civilians are protected.
On the margins of the G7 Leaders’ Summit, I held discussions with OpenAI Chief Executive Officer Sam Altman on opportunities to deepen collaboration in artificial intelligence and digital transformation.
We explored potential collaboration through establishing Nairobi as the home of the first OpenAI Academy initiative in Eastern Africa, expanding AI education, strengthening digital skills, supporting educators and learners, and reinforcing Kenya’s position as a leading hub for AI talent and innovation.
I underscored the importance of harnessing emerging technologies to create opportunities for young people, drive innovation and ensure Africa plays a meaningful role in shaping the future digital economy.
