I’m currently in #Gwadar, where the situation is far worse than anticipated. Many houses have collapsed, leaving thousands, especially children and the elderly, exposed to the contiguous diseases and enduring severe hardships.

This isn’t a natural disaster but the result of reshaping the map of this century-old city in the name of a so-called megaproject. The indigenous population of Gwadar faces destruction disguised as development.
