Border clashes typically favour more organized conventional militaries, as they can rapidly concentrate firepower and assets thanks to superior strategic and tactical capabilities.

It's important to remember that guerrilla warfare and conventional warfare operate on fundamentally different principles.

Taliban made a strategic blunder by engaging in a warfare they can't dominate. They won't be able to even regain control of these posts captured by Pakistan, especially in the short term, if Pakistan targets bridges and roads leading to forward checkposts, let alone targeting reinforcement convoys.

Pakistan hasn't even mobalized aerial assets yet. Otherwise, hitting Kabul and Kandahar would be just a training practice for PAF in an unchallenged airspace.
