🚨🚨 Nørgaard on Arsenal: ‘I’ll cherish this forever’ – and keep the bonds strong ” 🇩🇰 🥹
Christian lone season at Arsenal was professionally successful but personally frustrating.
He won a Premier League title medal and earned high praise for his dressing room leadership but managed just seven league appearances and 101 minutes of action.
Set to join Everton, he couldn't hold back praise on his time in North London
🗣🎙️ "From the moment I arrived in here, you welcomed me with open arms. Even though my time on the pitch was shorter than I would have liked, being part of this incredible squad has been one of the greatest privileges of my career.
🗣️" Lifting the Premier League trophy with this team is a memory I will carry with me forever. Fighting alongside these players all the way to the Champions League final showed the world the elite standard and mentality of this club.
🗣️" Thank you to Mikel, the coaching staff, my teammates, and most importantly, you—the fans—for your unwavering support.
🗣️" I am moving on to a new chapter with Everton, but I leave wishing Arsenal nothing but continued success, more silverware, and the bright future this club truly deserves.

I think there are two types of optimism:
1. Passive Optimism
2. Active Optimism
Passive Optimism is exclusively about belief. The belief that things will work out. Blind faith.
Active Optimism is about belief that begets action. The belief that things will work out, and the action to make sure they do. Earned faith.
Passive Optimism fails for the same reason Pessimism does. Because it doesn’t move. The passive optimist does nothing because he thinks he doesn’t have to.
And the reality is that Passive Optimism can often masquerade as patience, faith, or even wisdom. It’s the career path that will sort itself out. It’s the relationship struggle that will surely disappear with time. It’s the health issue that will eventually go away.
Belief is great. Faith is great. But without appropriate action, they are a recipe for long-term disappointment.
A mentor once told me this:
Always assume things will work out, then do the work to make it true.
That combination creates a quiet confidence that allows you to tolerate uncertainty better than anything else.
It’s a mindset of Active Optimism. Belief and action.
England have the highest xG, meaning they’ve created the most high-quality chances of any team at the World Cup across their first five matches. At the same time, they also have the third-lowest xGA, meaning they’ve allowed the third-fewest quality chances.
Meanwhile, Norway have conceded the most quality chances in the tournament.
So, in my opinion, England to win shouldn’t be priced any higher than 1.70.
The second thing is Harry Kane’s odds to have 2 shots on target… WTF.
He covers that line in almost every match, and England are generally much more comfortable playing against European opposition.
