Sycamore had an amazing start to the GMCs yesterday! With an iconic 9:57 4x800, a 9-0 pole vault, and a special 1st place with a 5-0.25 in high jump!
It was so fun running into some Middies I used to coach, loved being able to cheer them on again!

Michael W. STUNS with an impressive 25.71 seconds in the GMC Championships today cementing his qualification to compete for first place at the Track and Field State championships! Success comes to those who never give up 🏅
We were SURROUNDED by success tonight! the most unbelievable 4x400 finish to have us competing for FIRST in the STATE! This relay has put in the work to better themselves, shave off time, compose flawless handoffs, and take it to the next level. You’re looking at greatness
Middletown boys bring home 2nd and girls bring home 3rd!
Lailah C. PR’d in first place with 8 feet for pole vault! Dylan P. brought home the distance medley win with a 5 minute mile! Boys finish 1st in the 4x400! Girls 4x100 and 4x200 scored first place! Boys hurdles scored 1st!
Talk about resilience! The Middies persevered through the 5 hour long downpour to showcase some INCREDIBLE athleticism. Girls took 3rd in pole vault! Boys took first in hurdles! And the amount of sportsmanship and dedication were heavier than the rain! So proud of these athletes
