@DinTheFakeWeeb@airbagg3d Yeah like at first its who invited John Destiny to the party but maybe an hour later youre like fuck this guy is really really well made
@DinTheFakeWeeb@airbagg3d Lodi hate is deadass just forced by people that have never cared about Destiny's story beyond the most surface level love
"D2 became woke" crowd when they still dont know just how fucking gay Osiris is and King's fall is still their favorite raid somehow
@divinewrabbit@slime_machine@Chris_F_22 i wouldnt say lud not playing on stream is an issue, like if the angle is "for a creator showmatch, its kinda lame to do a bait and switch like that" honestly thats so fair, but thats not the way you or anyone else ive seen with this opinion has put it
@Kayffeine__ We have had a literal decade where Mercy players have remained some of the most unwilling to change their hero regardless of the state of the match
If it's quick play yeah sure it honestly doesn't matter but still at that point the hate likely isnt mysogynistic
@Kayffeine__ Some of it, sure! But a generalized statement like this doesn't cover the majority of situations
Most of Mercy hate is rooted at the fundamental core mechanic of Overwatch: the ability to swap your hero at any point in the game
on the bed, on the couch, bent over the kitchen counter, by the fireplace, against the wall, in the shower, on the floor, in the basement, against the window, in front of a mirror, missionary, cowgirl, reverse cowgirl, doggy, backwards, sideways, outside, in the car
@saaaaaaaaaint Yeah, plenty! Just not at all in the way youre looking for
The problem that many people have is that they dont want to try something different, they just want Destiny which is by all means valid. Just the disappointment will never end unless you try to love something different
