HAPPY CANADA DAY 🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦
Today, Canadians across the country are celebrating 159 years of being an independent, sovereign country 🇨🇦
I love my country. I was born here and have lived here my entire life. There is nowhere else I'd rather be 🇨🇦
I am a proud Canadian 🇨🇦

Who here is proud to be Canadian? 🍁
Canada has my heart! ❤️
I wake up every day grateful to live in one of the best countries on earth, if not the greatest nation ever! With the kindest citizens and unwavering patriotism. Our flag is so beautiful ✨.
You can make fun of Trudeau all you want, and he certainly made some mistakes worthy of condemnation, but his election in 2015 saved Canada when the USA turned right with Trump's first election in 2016. He set us on the path and left us with a leader who can handle the storm.
I am deeply grateful for the overwhelming support, encouragement, and kind messages I have received from people around the world. Your solidarity has reminded me that football unites us beyond borders. Thank you to everyone.
This was three days ago. It’s proof you never know what’s going on in a person’s mind or heart. Please know that even if you feel it, you’re never alone and there’s always a way out of the darkness. The suicide and crisis lifeline is 988. 💔😞
Grocery stores asking struggling customers to “donate to fight hunger” at the checkout while they throw out perfectly good food behind closed doors is one of the biggest hypocrisies in our society.
If food is still safe to eat and within days of expiring, it should be going to food banks, shelters, and people in need, not dumpsters.
We don’t have a food shortage, we have a system that would rather waste food than feed people.
If a homeless person is using the library because they have nowhere else to go, and they aren’t bothering anyone, they should be allowed to use that public service like everyone else.
Libraries are one of the last public spaces where people can exist without being expected to buy something. Access to warmth, safety, washrooms, internet, knowledge, and human connection shouldn’t depend on whether you have an address.
Being homeless is not a crime. Existing in public while poor should not be treated like one either. Full Stop 🛑
Ignoring the Canadian Census isn’t harmless. It shortchanges your own community. When people don’t respond, Stats Can undercounts your area, and that translates into lost funding, fewer services, and weaker representation. You’re essentially kneecapping your own neighbourhood.
When men are so afraid of having a finger stuck up their butt to perform a lifesaving cancer screening so they come up with a blood test for it instead.Meanwhile women have been getting cracked open with the original speculum from 180 years ago and nobody seems to care.
