Using some of my technical theater skills from high school is not something I anticipated doing as the wife of a professor...@coastalgeology packed the house at the Island Theatre on Chincoteague!
A beautiful afternoon on Cedar Island, VA with spill planning & response folks from @USCG Sector Virginia, @EPAregion3, @USFWSSoutheast, VDEQ, @VIMS_News & others! Hoping that a major incident doesn't happen out here, but working hard to figure out how best to respond if it does

Managing symptoms of HSD can be colorful! I use kinesiology tape to help support joints, particularly my thumbs, so I've decided that I may as well add some color to the world instead of trying to hide. #MyHSDChallenge@TheEDSociety
@ICanCookThat The Hein boys can step it up when it counts! I didn't get any garnishes on the trays left outside my room last week, but I did get some lovely roses from the garden in a vase! Maybe we need to get sick more often...errr...?🤷♀️
@TheEDSociety Great news! Is there any timeline for when the Global Registry and Repository will be reopened? As a scientist with HSD, I'd love to be a data point!

May is Ehlers-Danlos and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders month. I was recently diagnosed with HSD and am amazed at how little is known about these rare genetic conditions. @Ehlers__Danlos has lots of information if you want to learn more!
