@icy It feels like an unnecessary new start without actual new ideas. And it’s just not ready. Ping is horrible, so no proper server location, sound overall is a muddy mess, music uninspired (by far! the worst soundtrack of any gears!). I enjoyed this evening but not sure about it.

@BChapy This is interesting. I didn’t know about that and I only played PvP yesterday and there was no proxy. On PvP I can see why they won’t do it but if they really bring it in Siege this would be a huge W as this could potentially improve the cooperative aspect by a lot I guess.

Can we please get Crossplattform Ingame Voice Chat plus PROXIMITY Voice Chat? Especially for Siege the latter would be the best feature ever.

@BChapy With a beefy 4090 rig on ridiculous around 30FPS. On Ultra around 60. With DLSS balanced(!) on 75. This is a far cry from the promoted 120.
Plus my personal unpopular opinion: they missed the chance to open up for broader audience, doubt it’ll be a true success. OG since 2006.

@BChapy Surprisingly unpolished. Besides the new movement adjustments the engine itself has considerable issues to render textures properly, even on the characters. The multiplayer chars are toned down in texture quality a lot. Textures popping in even on loading screens. 1/2

@tomwarren @all. This is nonsense and a total misinterpretation of what BGS initially told. Don’t do it that way! To clarify: there’s a certain twist and adds in NG+, but you won’t recognize anything of that cause you didn’t really participate in a good chunk of quests in NG. Don’t do it!
