My whole life has been defined by climate anxiety. From childhood to today there hasn't been a single day where it hasn't at least been at the back of my mind, weighing on me ever heavier with every passing year.
The kindest thing literature does is remind you that your peculiar little feelings have always existed. Someone, in some century, was equally confused by love, bored by society, tired of performing, and hungry for meaning.
This is the moment to support the developers. If you see someone who was a former Bungie Dev and you have the ability to boost their work, now is a time to do it.
My heart goes out to the Destiny 2 Team. This isn't fair, especially when you all worked so hard to right the ship.
"I wish they'd stop calling me a terrorist. That's what I wish. I wish they'd stop calling me a radical. None of these people are radical. They just want healthcare. They want to end American militarism. They want to spend money on roads, infrastructure, on schooling, on healthcare, rather than bombs overseas." HASAN IS SPITTING 🔥
“Could I do more?”
You all have done more for this game and our studio than could ever be imagined, and no words can accurately depict how lucky we are to have shared these worlds with you.
Don’t blame yourselves or think you could have / should have done more. This is just the way it goes sometimes.
No matter the future, we will always have these memories.
Thank you. For everything.
D2 is weird rn cause I'm grieving it while having the most fun I've had in years, it's so strange knowing something is over yet still being able to experience all it has to offer
It pisses me off because everyone yelled at Lucasfilm for years for not doing anything interesting with the sequels so they created the high republic and branched out, away from the skywalker saga and people still didn’t give it a chance because it was a show led by a WOC
they won. you're afraid of your neighbours and fellow workers instead of the bourgeoisie, who steal the equivalent value of that computer from you over and over and over until you die. they own you completely
Guillermo del Toro says AI is a form of "natural stupidity"
“We are on the verge of image illiteracy. We are on the verge of cinema illiteracy... The pact between man and image is sacred, but we are in a time when that is in danger... We are told images can be generated by artificial means. The existence of an image is not just to be there. It is to connect us, to make us feel beauty,” he said.

im genuinely intolerant of religion like in a way that even progressives probably think is problematic. you have this made up idea of existence from a story book and you reject the reality of the world around you to the point of hate and violence. while looking stupid as fuck
@colesmithen2 I think D1 was more approachable to casual players/people who didn’t have as much free time to grind. I could miss a week or 2 in D1 and not feel like I had a sysiphisian mountain to climb when I got back. D2 felt over saturated, & I say that as someone w more hours in D2 than D1
Destiny lore has always been fantastic on its own, but Byf... fuck, man, you brought it to life in a way that made me feel like a storied Warlock was bringing the world to me in person.
Thank you for everything you done to enrich an already amazing universe.
