I like to think even Judas made it to heaven

[Saint Conatus @SaintConatus]

“And our planet!”

[Matthias Schmidt @eurofounder]

POV: you're staying in Airbnb in Europe

[Saint Conatus @SaintConatus]

I love breaking points so much

[Saint Conatus @SaintConatus]

@CSandbatch Used to live in Lexington, which is supposed to be the capital of BBQ in NC. It was all very mediocre.

[Saint Conatus @SaintConatus]

@CSandbatch Dreamland being here and not Archibald’s is insane

[Saint Conatus @SaintConatus]

Notice when Nationalists take power, they do so by talking about how “kino” everything used to look. But whenever they try to reproduce it, it looks tacky and gauche. Evangelicalism is hands down the ugliest political expression.

[Richard @gaijinthoughts]

In simple terms, Brazil is fucked. Evangelical fundamentalism is spreading rapidly, and it’s poisoning the country’s politics. I cannot overstate how much more extreme evangelicals in Brazil are than their American counterparts. It’s spreading even among younger Brazilians.

[Saint Conatus @SaintConatus]

@IndSocEnjoyer I think he’s probably a useful idiot who has been fed information he doesn’t know how to parse. Throughout the ep., he constantly uses words incorrectly, calls himself an “alpha,” it’s like he has the mind of a 12 year old. Perfect fit for the audience I guess.

[Saint Conatus @SaintConatus]

@AdmiralSabamoto Real locals go to Lai Lai

[Seethroughitall @seethroughit2]

Rod Dreher explains that the groundwork is being laid for a rise of Nazism in America...

"The demographic group in Germany after the crash of 29 that ran first and in greatest numbers into the arms of the Nazis were middle class educated men in their 20s"

"This generation is the least church generation. But even those who did go to church, if all they got out of church was this moralistic therapeutic deism, then that's not going to be strong enough to fight off the demons of racism, anti-semitism, radical nationalism, and identity politics."

[Saint Conatus @SaintConatus]

@dawsferatu Using AI to say the joke is on the audience is very funny

[Buddy Mac @TenGallonTroub]

My Ten-Gallon Troubadours and I are hitting the recording studio later this month to begin recording an EP of honky Tonk heartbreak songs. Here’s just a small snippet of our original song “Heaven Knows”.

[Saint Conatus @SaintConatus]

@HunterMercian Can Peru not be attributed to Irish immigration? And could it not be Irish are more akin to some proto group that came out of the steppe that also migrated and maintained a presence in India ?

[Saint Conatus @SaintConatus]

@MasonRaySanders @FreddyLA7 East cullman county, yes.

[Saint Conatus @SaintConatus]

@onemanride @FreddyLA7 @billysandytodd Cullman is 48ers and Bavarian Catholics

[aufek @aufek]

God willing, no matter how many times I am rejected I will keep trying to court the world.

[Saint Conatus @SaintConatus]

@ExotericDago Chon was pretty great back in the day

[Saint Conatus @SaintConatus]

Why not.

[MoundLore @MoundLore]

Alabama’s first capital is gone.

Cahawba….built at the meeting of two rivers was once a hopeful city of mansions, markets, and politics.

Today it’s a ghost town, swallowed by swamp.

They called it America’s Atlantis

🧵 The Lost City of Cahawba

[Swig 🇺🇸 @OldRowSwig]

This shit hit me in the fucking soul man

[Saint Conatus @SaintConatus]

We have the lowest property taxes, the cheapest fertile land, beautiful nature. People have manners. Relative to the rest of the country, things seem to be going as good here as they could be. I’m not surprised people attribute that to the current regime.

[Saint Conatus @SaintConatus]

Are people morons captured by a false consciousness entrenched in racial prejudice? Yes. But people don’t understand we’re not like Mississippi economically. We’re the 25th largest economy, and SO MUCH money has come into Huntsville and Tuscaloosa.

[sean @_sn_n]

Alabama is so backwards that they are going to choose a football coach who can’t name the three branches of government over a guy who prosecuted the KKK
