Creating a culture where mistakes are accepted, and learned from, is essential for a healthy team environment.
How do we build that culture? For me, it starts with the head coach.
Head coaches must lead with openness and understanding, not stubbornness. Understand why your players are making mistakes rather than shaming them. Players CAN learn, but you need to find the way for it to click with them.
Create structures that normalize mistakes, like consistent debriefs where your mistakes are discussed.
Keep conversations consistent so feedback isnโt only happening when things go wrong.
That foundation is what allows teams to grow without fear of failure.
๐LFT as Head Coach
While still with FOKUS should they qualify for Ascension, Iโve been given permission to explore other opportunities.
Through my time here, Iโve learned the importance of building more than just strategy, my coaching focuses on creating a strong team environment and a cohesive culture where players find their strengths.
Open to any offers as long as it has commitment, happy to work in GC as I feel I'm familiar with the environment.
