Nearly ready for Hanoi 10s Rugby Festival. 🇻🇳 🏉
I would like to thank my offical sposor @UnderArmour for kitting me out, year after year.
We have a sponsorship deal, where I pay full retail price for merchandise and in return they get an brand loyal social rugby player.🤣
I play social rugby here in Vietnam 🇻🇳. We have a team full of expats and quite a couple Saffas. We are by far the worst fans. It does make us unique. The funny thing that I find, the less you know about rugby, the LOUDER you are.
🇿🇦 need to remember that 2 things can be true at the same time. Biarrey is an amazing winger. Kolbe is one of the GOATS. We can appreciate both.
I wouldnt want to change our pride and passion for anything in the world, but we need to learn to appreciate all rugby. We are not the only ones who are allowed to be proud. We also don't have to force our opinions on others. Let them be happy in their beliefs. (Even if they are wrong)
@JohnHol86539763@RassieRugby Look at battle stats. 👀
He does a lot of unseen work. He was instrumental in winning the RWC and can change a game. Can cover 3 or 4 positions. Not just about being a better 8
Yeah, I am currently coaching the Hanoi Dragons. We are competitive in South East Asia, but it is only social club rugby. We have a small selection pool compared to the surrounding clubs, but we manage to win tournaments.
I've completed my WR level 2 7s and will do level 2 15s soon. I've also done WR level 1 strength and conditioning. I have also done Wr Level 1 Reffing course. I'm trying to deep dive into it and soak up as much as I can. I still have a lot to learn (even though I've played my whole life and still do).
I also coach kids and women and that real grass roots stuff and focus on T1 or introduction to rugby. But it is rewarding.
We are trying to start a federation here in Vietnam and then hopefully there will be more opportunities here, but I am also willing to work elsewhere.
Thanks, @RassieRugby, for taking the time early in the morning for a selfie.
Sorry for interrupting you, but it is not often one gets to see/meet their heros.
Thanks again 🇿🇦
I forgot to tell you that I'm part of a team trying to start a rugby federation in Vietnam 🇻🇳
I wish I was diligent enough to look for the receipts from last week. So many accounts mocking Cheslin for going for the intercept. Sometimes it doesnt work out and the attacker reads it. Sometimes it does.
@MrBeast 100% my wife.
If I call her, she immediately thinks something is wrong. I think in our 13 years together, she has probably has missed a handful of calls.
To be fair, I dont call unless it's important or it's really, really good gossip, so she always answers.
Just taken some time away from the screen. The mob with the pitchforks will move on to the next target.
You've always been great at reminding people to focus on themselves.
Just remember who you are and why you do what you do. As you said, you've helped so many people. Focus on that and get back to doing that.
It shouldn't matter what people think, as long as in your heart, you know who you are and you believe that the work you are doing is helping/protecting people.
That's all that matters at the end of the day. You'll always be a hero to the people who know you, love you, and support you. It doesn't matter if you're a villain to the rest. Their opinions dont mean anything to your circle.
You can't please everyone. Make sure you stay true to who you are. That's all you can control and all you can do.
I'd be sad to see your content go, I think you do amazing work. Let the storm pass and then bring back the sunshine.
I agree. I was saying to a mate that it happens at almost every ruck. But when you bring it back to big screen and you can see it in slow motion, then ignoring it becomes a little more difficult. Could easily be given as going off his feet or diving over. But 100% agreed it happens all the time. So if it was called it would've been really soft. Unless, there is something that makes it legal, which is what I'm asking @WayneBarnesRef for clarity on.
@GaytonMcK White person does something wrong, "It's their white privilege that made them think it was okay to do it, bloody whites and their privilege!"
White person does something right, "No DNA just RSA."
Make it make sense...
How do we afford this? My wife (32) and I (35) both teachers, saved up for our first child, we desperately want another, but with the birth costs of the first one, we've started saving up again for the next one. We are 🇿🇦 and live in 🇻🇳, so maternity leave and insurance don't cover a lot. It's only responsible that we make sure we have enough money to raise our kids. We will get there, but it's not easy or responsible to just have kids without preparing for their future. I have Tesla shares, though, so if you make sure you keep succeeding, then we will have more kids. Haha.
I actually don't care about what previous or current MPs have done/do, but why can't this be a him problem. He didn't have permission, and he got fired. We can argue the precedent for ages, but why is it white privilege? Why do we have to bring race into it. How could you possibly know his thought process?
I thought Gayton might just be the answer to these politicians. But it seems he will also jump at an opportunity to divide SA by race. Where do the voters go now?
A lot of people will be saying some pretty wild stuff about @TrentAA for reactions and for engagement.
Get sold for a big fee, you're a snake that left the club and followed the money.
Run out your contract. You didn't get the club money.
He would never have made the fans happy. People change jobs and careers their whole lives but if a footballer does it then he is a traitor. Glass houses.
He has every right to try something new. He gave everything to the club. He won every trophy. He produced the most amazing moments in a red shirt.
You can't doubt his love for Liverpool, that's so clear to see. The people in the city will always love him. The scouser in the team.
Good luck at Real Madrid Trent. May you win many trophies and keep producing many moments of magic except when you play against Liverpool.
YNWA.
I don't have enough followers for comments but if you read this and you disagree. Good for you. I couldn't be bothered about your opinion. This is my opinion and that's all I really care about.
20 times, nothing in football matters now until next season.
This time last year, I shyly asked @ilona_maher for a picture.
She was happy to take the picture and also gave our team (Pass It Back) a team talk.
I think what she has done for rugby is absolutely amazing. She is an inspiration and a role model.
Keep changing lives 💪
Thank you legend!
