@issathemista @dklmarxist Where would you find them? Genuinely curious, how would you vet these people to make sure they aren’t racist? Seems extremely challenging, you could vet by background, friends, or political affiliation but there’s always a chance.
@iamYoungNic_17@MyKidsMakeStuff@janeinLA Fair, if you’re married you should be willing to spend what your partner spends, especially if you make similar amounts. It seems like they’re both conscious of the money they spend.
@Frediculous You’d never tell a teacher, coach, judge, etc. to just let people act however because that’s just who they are. Society rewards & punishes all behavior. In a relationship you are your partners teacher/coach, so you must encourage the behaviors you like.
@Frediculous People have a problem with holding two slightly conflicting thoughts especially if they require responsibility. Both things are true, people tend to have a default setting on how they treat people & people can have behavior changed via the feedback they receive.
@MixxDattNegroo@CJ_Urbane It’s not about being dogs, it’s human nature to run to pleasure and run from pain. It’s in our dna to enjoy rewards & hate punishment. You can definitely influence someone’s behavior by how you treat them.
@CJ_Urbane I can respect this take, a lot of guys are slow to leave a relationship but they gotta be more intentional with their effort/energy. If a woman isn’t reciprocating, talking down to you, etc. then just leave. Don’t waste time trying to play down to someone else’s level.
@Frediculous Folks think people are robots. You reward someone for good behavior & punish them for bad behavior, it’s a basic principle. We were taught that as children, we were programmed that way. What’s wrong with giving good people their flowers? it costs nothing.
@ladidaix@Frediculous Although I don’t agree, let’s say it’s true. Do you think it has anything to do with the different requirements/expectations for each role? Traditionally speaking, being a boyfriend requires much more effort & initiative than being a good girlfriend.
@RobertMSterling Obviously this is not a statement in support for the shooters actions, he committed horrible acts & will pay for them. I’m just interested to hear others thoughts, sometimes things aren’t as black & white as we hoped they were.
@RobertMSterling Do you oppose murder against bad people? You were a marine, how did you when Seal Team Six killed Bin Laden? Just curious, where you stand on bad things happening to bad people.
@angeldevenganza Similar to how some women say they want a spineless, generous man that attends to their every beck & call until they actually get one. Do people know themselves well enough to know what they want/whats good for them?
@angeldevenganza Should you really trust what they say? Many customers think they know what they want until they receive it & find out they don’t know what they truly desire.
@haintological In every community the men lead the way, especially economically. If you pour into black boys & men everyone else will benefit because men tend to spread more of the resources around. People have to accept reality & listen to understand, not respond.
