How would I change the points system for the Women's Ashes? Increase the points available for each win in the ODI series which would increase the needed points from 8 to 10. That way if there's a winner of the test, they'll need to win a white ball series and maybe 1 more match
This women's Ashes series has been brilliant. However I think they need to review this points system because in the event of a close series like this you're almost hoping for an abandonment in a limited overs games to avoid the possibility of the points being all square
@EmptyHand19 @ErrantVagrant @markinneswilli@JustStop_Oil She didn't manage to get more than a leg on the table and was therefore unable to cause the havoc she wanted to
@EmptyHand19 @markinneswilli@JustStop_Oil Mark hasn't ridiculed himself because one of their members was prevented from getting on the table and as a result play is going on right now
@JustStop_Oil Everyone has a right to protest but interrupting a major event that has absolutely nothing to do with the thing you're protesting about is not the way to go about it.
@davehendon I've noticed there's been a change of refs today. Brendan Moore did 1st session of Williams match but is on the other side of the arena for start of Higgins match with Leo Scullion doing part 2 of Williams match. That's unusual. Do you know why they've changed refs?
@davehendon do you think Ronnie missed a trick by conceding that 4th frame so quickly. Had he waited a bit surely the ref would have called a free ball which would potentially have left him only needing 1 snooker.
Shocking news about Zhao there @davehendon. Any news on who his replacement at the Masters will be and will they go straight in to play Selby on Sunday or will some of the match ups have to be redrawn?
@CliveTyldesley That's a shame Clive. Can't believe ITV have treated you this poorly. You and Jon are still the best commentators there despite Sam getting the main gig
@XErinjade That's great news Erin. I know how much dance means to you. Just take it easy though and make sure you ease your way back in to it so you don't re - injure yourself
@alanshearer Totally agree Alan. The ref has done okay today but he's made 1 or 2 errors in favour of City. VAR managed to overturn 1 but they weren't able to get involved to overturn that booking for that trip on Haaland and penalise that foul seconds earlier
They may have had a shocker with the penalty decision but not with the disallowed goal. I get the argument you & @jpearcefootball were presenting but don't forget a season or 2 ago those VAR lines were thinner which would have made that a clear offside instead of a marginal one
@CuePowerBlog In terms of yesterday, Higgins played practically perfect snooker akin to what he produced at Players Championship although he did have a few kind runs of the ball also. Ronnie wasn't getting many chances and the 1 chance Higgins did give him, he won the frame in 1 visit.
@CuePowerBlog Actually Ronnie hasn't been horrible the whole year. He made it to 3 finals in the 2021 part of last season. But for a kick, he'd have taken his Crucible defence at least in to the quarters and this was his 2nd semi final of the season. No grounds for hating on Ronnie there
Really happy to see AJ & Kai make it to the semi's but can't help wondering how they made it given that Kai inserted 5 lifts in their routine when you're only allowed 3 in Salsa and yet it doesn't seem like the illegal lifts were taken in to account with the scoring and saving
