@imkimlol Yeah, I agree. Some 18 year olds are still in high school, and high school students (even if they’re not minors anymore) should NOT be on OF…
@sola_chad So, by this logic, if a woman marries a man, she’s actually taking his father’s last name? Since, apparently, no one’s last name is actually theirs.
@theAndrewHersh@shannonodell Where I used to live, all the kids waited at the bus stop when it was still pitch dark in the morning for at least half the school year, and no one got run over…
@onewitchwillow AND think you have “male privilege” EVEN if you’re not on hormones, had no surgeries, legally “female” (with a feminine name) - and see as a “woman” by everyone in society… 🧍🏻
@MrDanielBuck Wow, I always thought boys hated school because they had to sit in a chair for hours and learn about stuff that doesn’t interest them instead of playing sports or video games with their friends - but I guess it was because of lavender curtains this whole time…
@Scarletkoito333 Tons of money is poured into propaganda. Rich people pay each other to brainwash Americans (through media) to keep them stupid, because they’re easier to control that way. Plus, the lack of funding toward education in some regions…
@SurrealistGal I say this as a trans masc who has seen and heard firsthand throughout my life how AMAB children get treated when they’re the slightest bit “girly” and I’ve been horrified.
@SurrealistGal It’s incredibly ignorant. AMAB children are literally physically abused for being the slightest bit feminine; and the worst part is everyone’s perception of masculinity is different, so parents can beat their AMAB kids because “they” think they’re feminine.
@soundvuitex “Trans men hold systemic power over everyone else” - please explain how a trans man who may have only realized he was trans last month, is not on hormones, does not pass as a man/is seen as a woman by everyone has ANY systemic power over anyone?
@loe_and_behold THANK YOU!! Idiots who keep saying “trans men don’t belong in lesbian spaces” tend to forget that many trans men believed they were lesbians before realizing they were trans (and were therefore in lesbian spaces) - and have had life experiences that are identical to lesbians.
@anticarsls Isn’t Australia one of the most car-centric countries in the world next to the U.S.? Why would this person care if someone is driving a pickup truck when they have wide, open roads? I would understand being upset if you lived in a country that’s dense with narrow streets…
@dafifthloko It depends on what you define as “feminine”. I’m transmasc and I despise wearing dresses, skirts, makeup, etc., and only wear men’s clothes; but I have no shame in enjoying things (like movies) aimed toward women - but I generally prefer more masculine things…
@farfurtherfar And these are only the ones who admit it and/or act on it. That means the majority of bi women aren’t completely happy with only being with their sex of the partner. I don’t blame gay (or straight) people for being wary of dating them if these stats are accurate… 🤢
