Shame on these political leaders. We are suffering badly, but no one seems to care about our problems. They need our votes, but they don’t need our problems.

During this huge festival rush, they couldn’t even arrange ONE special train for Bhadradri Kothagudem. Why are you there as MPs if you cannot even raise such a basic demand?

And this is not just about one MP. We have 5 MPs representing us 3 Rajya Sabha MPs and 2 Lok Sabha MPs. Yet all of them seem busy with their own political agendas and business. Who is actually standing up for the public? In front of the mic's, they speak. On the ground, the reality is ZERO.

One special train would not benefit Bhadradri Kothagudem alone. It would also serve passengers from neighbouring districts and even neighbouring states. Yet, despite the huge demand, why has no one taken this issue seriously?

Even DRUCC members have access with railway officers. DRUCC is supposed to represent passenger concerns, but it has now become a politically nominated body, while passenger issues continue to take a back seat.

As elected MPs, you have direct access to railway authorities. Why can’t you raise these basic issues? Why can’t you demand at least ONE special train for our region during this huge festival rush?

For the past 3 years, BDCR railway station works have been going on, yet major works are still pending. Not even 50-60% of the works appear to be completed. What are our MPs doing?

Anyhow you cannot bring new trains, extensions, coach augmentations or upgrades, then what exactly are you doing for the people who elected you?

On one side, the State Government is increasing bus fares during the festival rush, putting an additional burden on passengers. We expected our MPs to at least demand special trains, but even that hasn’t happened.

Bhadradri Kothagudem generates ₹17–18 crores+ in railway passenger revenue through just 4 services. Despite this, why is our region still being ignored?

We don’t need excuses or politics. We need accountability. We need trains. We need better railway infrastructure. Most importantly, we need our elected representatives to stand with the passengers.

We voted for you to raise our issues not just to ask for our votes.

Considering the high demand from passengers across the Peddapalli Parliamentary Constituency, particularly during the upcoming festive season, I requested the South Central Railway to continue the ‘Janasadharan’ special train services between Secunderabad–Sirpur Kaghaznagar and Sirpur Kaghaznagar–Hyderabad.

I am happy that South Central Railway has responded positively to my request and approved Janasadharan (Unreserved) Special Train services for September 12 and 13, 2026.

These special trains will greatly benefit passengers from Sirpur Kaghaznagar, Asifabad Road, Bellampalli, Mancherial, Ramagundam, Peddapalli, Jammikunta, Kazipet, Jangaon, Bhongir, Charlapalli and Hyderabad.

I will continue working to secure better railway connectivity and additional passenger facilities for the people of my constituency, especially during periods of high travel demand.

My sincere thanks to the South Central Railway authorities for responding to my request and providing much-needed relief to passengers during the festive season.

Mancherial is a district headquarters and an important NSG-3 category station on the GT route serving the major Singareni coal belt with significant passenger and freight movement.

Yet, these important trains pass through Mancherial without stopping:

🔹 20625/20626- Bhagat Ki Kothi–Chennai SF Express
🔹 20805/20806 - AP Express
🔹 12625/12626 - Kerala Express

1- 2 minute halt at Mancherial would greatly benefit students, pilgrims and the general public.

Requesting @AshwiniVaishnaw @RailMinIndia @SCRailwayIndia @PMOIndia to kindly consider this genuine demand and provide a halt for these trains at #Mancherial (MCI).
