@not_weav It's more likely he's just stimulating his vagal nerve by tensing his solar plexus, which can cause feelings of euphoria. Either that or he's tensing hard enough to cut off his own blood flow and get loopy off it
@FoxxieLaLune Too many players play to win as their primary objective. For me, winning is balanced with a desire to see how much I can improve and how good I can get. I get more excited for feeling like I learned something important than winning 1 match, which I will play thousands of.
@FoxxieLaLune No shot. Every event I've ever been to, YCS, Regional, Case tournaments, if I can walk away with an idea of what I did wrong, and a strong understanding of why I did the wrong thing and how to avoid that mistake later, I legitimately get giddy thinking about using that info
@House_of_Champs As a, TCGPlayer labeled "VIP Professional" seller on TCG, doing hundreds of thousands in sales a month, I LOVE that they announce them ahead of time. It let's us run deals on buying collections to load up inventory and process it. The amount of additional money we make is π€―
@Daper_Bear If I convince people you are evil, I therefore appear good by contrast.
It's a reflection of insecurity, as people try to reframe any challenge to their worldviews as reaffirming evidence in its favor to prove to themselves and others that they are righteous and wise.
@ndsnas I've also been here and my professors (plural) told me to eat shit, I'm an adult and whether I pass or fail is on me. They were totally correct, but also, people gotta live. People's futures shouldn't arbitrarily hinge on the mercy of a few assholes who teach at uni, use GPT.
@grognack2000 Let me solve this.
Dangai > TYBW bc the Randoms could sense Ichigo's SP in TYBW but even Aizen with the Hogyoku couldn't sense him in Dangai.
@RealJest@hashiradrip@PeepsYGO Nuance suggests a small influence Realistically, tech choices, side board cards, ratios and gameplay are a huge influence and can change dramatically list to list. Picking the "Best deck" is probably less than half the effort of winning a major event, so be proud if you make it.
@lifeinchaos_ In high school, my mother would make me quit playing video games and spend time with the family by sitting in the same room as them while we all watched TV without speaking to each other bc "Shhh, the show is on"
@amagicmonkfish Company with "Pocket" in the name makes game where you catch mystical creatures in balls and use them for battle, transportation and comradery, where you throw the ball to release them, expects us to believe they didn't copy Pokemon
Make original games and you don't get sued.
@DudespostingWs Keep working on it, just slow your pace. Refine if, redo parts. If you have as much time as you do, you can keep upping the quality level while still not working that hard, ending up with you working less AND netting good boy points for the project being done perfectly.
@CDIGODDESS Going to Pride for the first time, friends and I being asked if we wanted a pride flag bracelet for our identities, friends all getting their bracelets, me saying "I'm Bi and NB", and then being told "Ew, gross, no bracelets for that, you get too much representation already"
@TrinityNovaVT Every post I see defending Pak, a person currently suspended by Konami for cheating (he's on the list, idk how he gets to play), I cringe. He's clearly got an ego and he's clearly not above swindling and cheating people. Idc about spreadsheets but Pak clearly has ill-intentions.
@galzoTCG I would enter an event, and get top 8, and throw 90% of this away other than the veiler, which I would still not be that excited about. A basic ultra rare veiler with a big ugly stamp? Sold as soon as the event is over for the $20 someone would probably pay for it.
@LMJeffJones The new stamps look ugly and they didn't pick a single card you can't get for under $1 to put them on. Veiler is fine, Blue-Eyes is Blue-eyes. Card trooper should have been thrown to a time wizard side event instead. I think this is THE bare minimum. 4/10 work.
