Unfortunately the term “Christian Nationalist” carries a very negative meaning today!
Secondly, it’s not a term found in our Bibles - I’m not a Christian Nationalist by any means. I am a Christian and a pastor who loves his nation. And prays for it and its leaders - but I challenge people to find our Lord Jesus addressing political issues in any of the Gospels!
Remember! Ephesians 2:8-10 reminds us that we are saved by grace and not works… and yet we are God’s workmanship created for good works that we should walk in them.
Therefore, works are the fruit of true salvation not the root of salvation!
@edstetzer Same here bro - growing up with a single parent my mom went on Wick and food stamps. I can still remember some of the looks we would get at the grocery store - not cool!
@Zirui18@MikeWingerii I think you might be taking that quote of Jesus a bit out of context … the greater works he spoke of He specifically spoke to the Apostles. They left Israel and hence did great work in scope - they changed the world by preaching the gospel not by performing miracles!
