@rlharden @Joe_Caffeinated @LudaTheGoat@CityofAtlanta Smart parents will keep their kids safe and at home at whatever costs. Thankful that APS is continuing distance learning. Just hope they work out an adequate plan/schedule.
@wont_sit_down@KeishaBottoms Why not. We can talk about COVID until we’re blue in the face, but it’s radio silence on what is being done to mitigate crime. Why can’t I hold the administration accountable for that as well?
@HuffPost I definitely salute our healthcare workers, they aren’t exactly responsible for who lives or dies. Let me know when they are reporting ZERO new cases. A good mitigation = fewer cases = fewer/no deaths.
@bc_Sanders @LightBu51377903 @KeishaBottoms Some of these studies are based inconsistent measures and small sample sizes. Not to downplay our current situation, but to discouraging misinformation or fear mongering. As a consumer of information, it is important to me that we stick to the clear, tangible, finite facts.
@bc_Sanders @LightBu51377903 @KeishaBottoms We can disagree and your comparable is not a comparable b/c we can ascertain that information. If you don’t have sufficient or conclusive data, you shouldn’t be reporting information that suggests the information is reliable.
@wont_sit_down@KeishaBottoms Having actually seen the data, I’d disagree. One doesn’t have anything to do with the other and both are issues that the community are concerned with. But one has not been discussed adequately.
@bc_Sanders @LightBu51377903 @KeishaBottoms Your drunk driver ref. is invalid b/c we can actually know that info. To know it is a possibility & to know HOW MUCH provides a different understanding. It speaks to likihood. It’s not just enough to say it exists. 1/100 is a different story than 1/100000. So say all the facts.
@M3EEKS@bc_Sanders @LightBu51377903 @KeishaBottoms Although I don’t disagree. Take precautions. But you did not understand the question. You have to say what % of patient’s experience these outcomes. Otherwise, it’s misleading.
@mike1021g @KeishaBottoms If you look at this snapshot, it is clear that the numbers are not a overwhelming portion of state total. Spread is happening outside of metro Atlanta.
@bc_Sanders @LightBu51377903 @KeishaBottoms Yes, this has been reported but this is also for the most extreme of cases. Ppl suffering mild symptoms (no hospitalization), do they experience the same? Where’s the stats to support this as being widespread? The flu/pneumonia also carries residual effects in severe cases.
@GovKemp@KeishaBottoms They BOTH need to go. Each of them have tremendous deficiencies in their leadership and it shows in these petty ass tweets that do nothing but create chaos. What happened to that good rapport that she touted back in April?
@democracynow@Laurie_Garrett For the first time ever watching this program I felt that the discussion veered into the bias reporting category. It becomes fear mongering when the premise becomes if you become positive you will experience the worst of the worse outcomes.
