@Kaypoisson1 Many Barca fans love Vini, myself included.. Brazil has lost relevance because of years of underperforming. .. But they have a fairly decent squad. If they gel they could surprise in this tournament
@1SMi_ I get that y’all are upset by what my fellow countrymen are doing to our brothers in South Africa. But exactly how are y’all different from them. Clearly if the tables were turned you would be doing exactly what they are doing. Ua abusive to the rest of us who are not harmful
@1SMi_ The coach has embarrassed us as a country… Sundowns went to club World Cup and were knocked out at group stages, but represented the country with pride. We were all impressed. This old man is making us look like fools with no talent. How do you play with 9 defensive players.
@Bunterwp@1SMi_ Our players are good. This squad has talent.. you don’t win CAF champions league talentless…. The coach is clueless in how he uses them. I’m afraid he shares your views. And I am puzzled why SAFA kept a coach that doesn’t believe in the quality he has.
@e_akanimo@1SMi_ We have good players. I expected us to get a draw at least. Worse case give them a tough game. They could have easily beaten us with 4…
@UtdBloke_ I’m South African and I’m supporting all African countries… despite the issues we face.. we are one. And we need each other more than some among us care to admit.
@AndileNcube@Levigos This comment represents so many of us. The coach doesn’t believe in our players. He said so himself after Afcon. He said our players don’t play in Europe. Which is not the standard for us. Our leaders were coward enough, bcos they feared to fire a coach that qualified us.
@ReleGlo I hate that old man… been saying since Afcon that they need to get rid of him. Pitso has availed himself and this SAFA with no backbone kept this dude..
@BarcaTimes I’m a Barcelona fan, but Barca was disrespectful to him and United. Buying Gordon for such while trying to negotiate a loan for him says everything you need to know.
Usually, bids, offers, and negotiations between clubs are never made public. I don't think I've ever seen a club release an official statement saying they made an offer for a player and had it rejected. Clubs usually either announce the signing officially or say nothing at all.
That's why I find this whole situation strange. It feels like Real Madrid wanted this information to become public because it makes the negotiations more difficult for us. Now everyone knows that even an offer of €150m was supposedly rejected by Atleti.
Honestly, I wouldn't even be surprised if the offer was never actually made and the whole thing was coordinated with Atleti because it benefits both sides. One side gets to show they're not willing to sell at any price, while the other makes it publicly clear that he fulfilled his promise and made the 150m offer.
We're so big that we're actually making two rival clubs work together against us.
Qatar said it doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from, you can come to the World Cup, just don’t drink alcohol at the stadium.
USA said you can’t come. Who you are or where you come from matters. We’ll decide who can and can’t participate. This isn’t a sport for everyone.
@WelBeast Atletico is insane for rejecting such a massive offer. Madrid knew they were going to be rejected. It’s all part of the game. To make sure Barca ends up paying ridiculously for him. But if their offer was accepted, he would improve their team.
