After 26 years of building for others, I’m building my own.
I’ll share it here as I build. First look soon.

@QualityFrog What a nut job. Started with gw basic when I was a kid

[Sajjadul Hakim @sajjadul]

@michaelbolton True. In this case it is an easy(?) but costly fix. Hire translators and let them validate each other.

[Sajjadul Hakim @sajjadul]

@michaelbolton They came up with a user friendly message in their native language. Then used google translate. Maybe not programming problem

[Sajjadul Hakim @sajjadul]

Stop loving your code & make everyone love your creation. Learn to delete your code and do it all over again. #Programmer #tester nightmare

[Sajjadul Hakim @sajjadul]

@hasin Already have more Ray-Bans than I need :)

[Sajjadul Hakim @sajjadul]

@hasin I can use it as a toy, but not like google is anticipating. Thinking most wouldn't either :)

[Sajjadul Hakim @sajjadul]

I never understood why wear a bluetooth headset all day, and I don't understand the same for Google Glass.

Borrow from the 90+ books available in our online library. Topics from programming, testing, philosophy, biography etc. http://t.co/ImuPUbkl

@testalways Failure detection. Notifications in case of errors, for both client/server apps. Invest in clear & meaningful logs. And more

[Sajjadul Hakim @sajjadul]

@testalways That's not what I was saying

[Sajjadul Hakim @sajjadul]

When leading projects, know that your plan and design, no matter how elegant and thorough, lacks perspective. Talk to more ppl who disagree

[Sajjadul Hakim @sajjadul]

@testalways Knowing that programmer won't remember his algo 2 weeks later. Patient with bugs that seem improbable.

[Sajjadul Hakim @sajjadul]

@testalways Prioritizing failure detection features along with features asked for. Assuming that estimates, however thorough, is ambitious.

[Sajjadul Hakim @sajjadul]

Defensive pessimism, although advocated in #testing, is a very desirable (yet rare) skill for leading projects.

[Sajjadul Hakim @sajjadul]

Don't you just hate it when your age old code broke because an API just got deprecated. #programming #facebookapi

[Sajjadul Hakim @sajjadul]

@testinggeek Want to engage with those who devour self in prog/test. Need them to create/discover like crazy. Not sure if that's sustainable

[Sajjadul Hakim @sajjadul]

@testinggeek @Veretax Going up the ladder or looking for better opportunities.

[Sajjadul Hakim @sajjadul]

Hiring #programmers & #testers. Look for interest in work and team, rather than career conscious. They are the crazies that may do wonders?

[Sajjadul Hakim @sajjadul]

What's all this hype about Tester's Day? It seems they were debugging and not necessarily #testing. http://t.co/7LGGQjwt
