This Shield goalie Andrew Akerman just backstopped his @cbn_jrstars team to a Game 7 Championship win in the @sjjuniorhockey —playing as an under-ager against 20–22-year-olds. In the finals alone, he posted a .940 SV% (223 saves on 237 shots) and a 2.00 GAA across 7 games. Calm under pressure. Clutch when it mattered most.

And if that wasn’t enough? He also finished the U18 AAA season with the league’s best save percentage at .932—for the second year in a row. 🔥

Andrew might be considered an undersized goalie—but when you dominate both of the top leagues in @hockeynl1935 , you have to start wondering:
