Was Eric someone who broadened your perceptual horizons, showing you that the world can be a strange, beautiful, and funny place to revel in debauchery? Good news! We have an event scheduled for those of us who remember Eric in that way:

If you would like a more tame way to remember Eric, this event is not the one you will want to come to. Earlier in the day at 4 PM, we will be hosting a more traditional memorial event. Details for that can be found in this Facebook event: https://t.co/OC5obEpOJJ
I must unfortunately share with everyone that Eric Webb passed away on Saturday June 6th after a month-long battle with sepsis. He was at home with his mother and fiancรฉ as his heart gave out after this long and difficult health battle.
We have provided more details of how wonderful Eric was as a person and the money we need to raise to give him a proper send-off on a GoFundMe page listed below: https://t.co/Mb9veHiQF9
@GroundhogJay_ Thanks so much, Jay. I'm sorry for your current and past struggles as well. Group sessions aren't for everyone, but I'm glad they're helping. Hang in there. Progress can take time. You seem like such a decent, intelligent, kind person. The world is better for you being in it.
@GroundhogJay_ I wish more people were able to see beyond their own POV to acknowledge the struggles of others. Through empathy we can share, gain insight, support, and find solace in connection. I'm proud of you for not letting her set you back.
@dunkwun@Daniels I wanted to love it, but Multiverse of Madness doesn't have the intellect, heart, narrative/thematic focus, compelling characters, spectacle-in-service-of-story, & radical empathy of Everything Everywhere All At Once. I wish Wanda's arc was more like Jobu's. She deserved better.
@TwoPoint0Filmz @MorganicInk I'd love to chat sometime about your experience working on productions in Atlanta with the goal of writing/directing. It's so weird how much production has fled LA over the last few decades for greener, tax-rebated pastures, but most writing/development still happens here.
@MurrellDan Strongly agree. An imaginative, but unfocussed mess. Not interested in exploring the consequences of its own spectacle. None of the big ideas re: spirituality/growth of the first film. At times, it's downright mean, punishing the audience for enjoying the fan service it provides.
@THEBRYANHITCH I empathize with all Star Trek fans outside the US and Canada right now. Until Paramount+ gets their shit together with international distribution, it might be worth trying a VPN. Most have free trials.
