Suggestions on making orgs more equitable: no salary ranges, ban the box, having floating holidays, leaving off education requirements on job postings, changing paternalistic policies, PTO for election day, PTO for Juneteeth, no required lifting or licenses #YNPN20
If you have power at your organization, it is incumbent upon you to bring up how you hire and the process that might make it hard for certain people to be part of your organization. Technology, background checks, etc must be included in that analysis. -@AZPinolera #YNPN20
