I see lot of folks comparing what happened in Benin with the threats issued by DJT, they aren’t the same.
@officialABAT was justified to intervene in Benin republic because the civilian authority in that country requested for help.
It’s as simple as that, folks.
#Benin
Apostles of 'Diplomacy', You need more time?
He appointed a PM, soon a cabinet will be formed. A semblance of full govt..
After all these you expect him to listen to ECOWAS?
If BAT doesn't intervene, he sure needs to exert a huge political favour from folks who handicapped him
I'm confident in the ability of @officialABAT to do what's reasonable, & I know he's fallible & can make mistakes.
However, issues in Niger & the reactions of some folks shows why BH is still causing troubles till date.
Don't let them handicap you with sentiment.
#NotocoupinNiger
Nigerien putschists have 2 options;Go back to the barracks & your account is fattened or get turned into roasted beef! The wise ones will take the first option.
Meanwhile, we create buffer zones on our northern border @least 500klm into Niger, setup choke pts & let the birds sing.
Mr President @officialABAT , events in Niger signals the dangers ahead.
It requires decisive actions. Irrespective of challenges here, now is the time to for coalition forces to ACT.
The cowardly act of Nigerien soldiers soon after your ECOWAS summit statement must be repelled.
Pres @officialABAT use this incident to ramp up our military, get supplies from willing partners in the West.
Erdogan can donate some stuffs if you reach out.
You CAN'T be seen as all bark & no bite. You've got to bite & bite strongly.
Cc @ekometa@tunderahmanu@aonanuga1956.
We are witnessing consequences of BAT’s indecision in Niger.
Had he shown strong leadership during the crises in Niger & followed through with kinetic actions, he would’ve received support from the west -equipment & resources.
Copy cat coups wont be happening around us.

The sentiment expressed by anti-ECOWAS interventionist plans is what has led us to the present state of insecurity in Naija.
We didn't deploy all our resources to finish them off when BH started.. now it's difficult.
If actions had been taken against mali et al, we won't be here.

Mr President doesn't need Senate approval before declaration of war!He has EXECUTIVE powers!
Secondly,I've seen a preponderance of folks from the north asking us to avoid war,(sentimental reasons)Nigeria isn't fighting, ECOWAS is.
Tell Nigerien soldiers to go back to the barracks
Whatever they're doing to DJT today will haunt them for several years to come...
No doubt he's morally deficient, but who amongst them isn't. HRC did same thing, BC, GWB, all committed infractions, even Joe.
Only a matter of time before Repubs take over & exert their revenge...
He has so much to say about customs in the last 18 months.
Obviously, his “source(s)” are those in the service who lost out since the new leadership came.
Expectedly they are fighting back
CG should sit up &rid the service of corruption.
Fisayo, any intel on borders up north?
Good evening, @CustomsNG.
I am aware that your officers have colluded with smugglers to move well over 130,000kg of rice from Benin Republic into Nigeria tonight, Sunday November 11, 2024.
All is set. Your men, working with Adeyemi Habeeb Abdulganiy, the multi billionaire-smuggler better known as Abuga, are primed to pass more than 2,000 cars containing at least 65 bags of rice each from Bebe in Benin Republic into Sango, Nigeria.
Some of these cars will enter Sango from the toll gate by driving against traffic, consequently endangering lives, while some will gain entry into Sango through Ifo; others will use the Oju-Ore-Ota route.
Road users in Sango can expect traffic congestion early tomorrow morning unless this post prompts an about-face from the actors.
I understand as well that soldiers from the 192 battalion at Owode will be patrolling during the journey to prevent any resistance.
So, @CustomsNG, just so you know, the people are watching; they will be hysterically laughing at you when you announce "seizure of one million bags of rice and 25 cartons of guns" later his week.😁
Seen you couple of times on with the tag of being an “expert” doing “image laundering” for “DR”…
Just stop!
Irrespective of honorarium/benefits… the “truth” is obvious & you know it.
Let DR compete in an open market without handicapping competitors.
No to DR monopoly!
FG should allow importation of bulk cement.
If ibeto is still in business, umahi should rehabilitate him &give him license to import alongside others.
FG should ban the importation of fuel immediately the PH refinery & the on in Lagos starts operations.
Cement price will crash
Minister of Works, Dave Umahi said claims that the cement price would go to N9,000 if the government starts doing concrete roads is false, as it is part of a big campaign of blackmail against him by the cabals in the construction industry.
“This is my line of instructions and I will do whatever the president instructs me to do he is the only one and God that can cancel my instructions so don’t waste your time reporting me to anyone apart from these two. No matter the amount of blackmail and lies, it will not prevail,”the minister reassured.
A labourer deserve their wages!
If you take decisions impacting the purchasing power of a critical mass you should give something in return.
They've shown restraints,It's left for you to show leadership.
Even if it's going to be deferred or pro-rated,@least announce something.
The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and that of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) are about to jointly brief journalists at the Headquarters of the NLC in Abuja.

Before sending them to prison....these guys should be fl0gged publicly to serve as deterrents to others.

Around 5:00 a.m. today, operatives of Rapid Response Squad (RRS) on patrol of Freedom Way, Ikate, Lekki, arrested two suspects stealing fabricated metal drainage covers in the area.
The two suspects were loading the drainage covers into a mini bus popularly called “korope” with
Until recently when Nigerians began their japa syndrome in droves, how many foreigners would have the time to start attesting they schooled with one Bola Tinubu over 40 yrs ago!
What's the average life span of Nigerians that you expect classmates of over 40/60 yrs ago to attest!
A man, Olajide Adeniji, has deposed to an affidavit in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, and tendered at the Northern District of Illinois Court in Chicago, swearing that he was a classmate of President Bola Tinubu at Chicago State University.
Rather than speculation, the media can track him down. I have highlighted him in red in the 1979 year book from @ChicagoState University.
FG should allow importation of bulk cement.
Cement manufacturers have become a cartel arbitrarily manipulating prices since the FG banned importation .
Best way to stop them is to allow importation.
Apparently, they've shown us their is no economic advantage to local production
I hope this Kenny Martins isn't the same one as the Ota farmer's in-law.
That one has a colourful history...
Hopefully, @officialABAT knows the success of his admin depends on his sincerity.
He's been aided to get the levers, we watch how he uses it for the good of the people.
4hrs plus Abuja - Lagos. The private consortium is Advance Engineering.
2: The project started under past FG not Buhari.
3: The project will commence in the next 3months.
4: The Chairman of the company is Kenny Martins.
5: The agreement would be water tight such that if the contractor backs out, they will pay $10m fine to FG not Tinubu.
6: The project would be ICT - compliant with a fibre connection, solar powered street lights and security points on the entire stretch of the road.
7: The road would begin from the proposed 4th Mainland Bridge in Epe of Tinubu.
An interesting turn of event, Mr. Gov.
That man in bowler hat advocated for the declaration of an interim government prior to the last presidential election.
How ironic!
A man whose kernel was broken by providence, but chose to muddle the waters...
How ironic!
Shame on AB!!
I am honoured to be at the reception held in honour of Chief Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, at Alfa Belgore Hall, Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, today.
I share this belief as well, Mr. Biden.
I hope the Nigerian authorities will consider this when the students loan program starts.
We don't want generations of folks bugged down by loans, unable to pay back & no job.
Mr President @officialABAT .... these are the issues...
