@SimonCalder 4. Point being had I waited in queue flight Friday would have sold out & god only knows when I would have got on holiday. Carpark at Stansted, car hire & Airbnb host in Italy been great & moved bookings. Why can’t Ryanair be as accommodating @simoncalder do I have a claim?

@SimonCalder 3. Have seen Ryanair are transferring to next available flight free of charge! they are refusing to refund me difference saying I should have gone through a rep. Did wait in customer service queue for an hour but hardly moved. App refused to allow change as flight had departed!

@SimonCalder 2. Conflicting info from ground staff saying flights would be delayed to allow passengers to get through. Future flights to our destination Brindisi were selling fast so booked via phone to next available one on Friday evening at a cost of £346.84 the original flight was £123.26

@SimonCalder 1. Absolutely shocking! Like others I had checked bags in over 2 hours before flight but security had already closed. Once it opened, absolute chaos trying to get to fast track. As I passed through I saw my Ryanair flight had departed.
