Hey Laravel Developers 👩‍💻

Laravel 11 is around the corner to be released with lots of new features. One of which is the make:enum command.

PHP 8.1 landed with support for native enums inside of PHP. Enums are great for IDE auto-completion support for possible values of types and protect us from mistyping them with a lot of other benefits.

The make:enum command in Laravel allows us to create both string-backed and integer-backed enum. We can also specify the path where the enum will be created
